I was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, South Africa until 2011, when my husband and I decided to move to England. After leaving school in South Africa, I studied photography and than massage therapy, but being uncertain on what career course to choose, i didn't pursue either very far. I was offered a temporary position at a small/large animal veterinary clinic, working reception and assisting as needed. the temporary position ended up becoming full-time and lasting 5 years. during this time i had the privilege of working with a variety of wildlife, such as monkeys and cheetahs. I started working at Amicus in September 2011, and have since completed a Level 3 diploma course as a veterinary support assistant. I have found that everyday at Amicus in interesting, learning so much about the wide range of small animals and exotics treated here. I have one cat and and English Bulldog who are all spoilt rotten.
